This page describes the current minimum technical specifications, compatibility standards, and hardware requirements for use of Entrupy’s Software and System.
Customers are responsible for providing and maintaining compatible hardware devices, operating systems, and internet connectivity.
Supported Mobile Operating Systems
Entrupy currently supports the following minimum operating system versions:
- iOS: iOS 15.8 or later
- Android: Android 10.0 or later
Entrupy may update these requirements from time to time for security, performance, compatibility, or functionality reasons.
Supported and Tested Apple Devices
Entrupy currently supports and has tested the following iPhone models and newer:
- iPhone SE, 1st generation and newer
- iPhone X
- iPhone XR
- iPhone XS and XS Max
- iPhone 11 series
- iPhone 12 series and newer
Other Apple devices may function with the System but may not be fully tested, optimized, or officially supported.
iPad Support
Entrupy’s applications may operate on compatible iPad devices. However:
- user interface layouts,
- screen scaling,
- aspect ratios, and
- certain visual workflows
may differ from the standard mobile experience. Entrupy does not guarantee that all features or workflows will perform identically on iPad devices.
Android Device Compatibility
Compatible Android devices must:
- run Android 10.0 or later,
- include a functioning rear-facing camera with a minimum 12MP resolution,
- meet the performance and compatibility requirements of the Entrupy application.
Because Android hardware varies significantly across manufacturers and models, Entrupy does not guarantee compatibility with all Android devices meeting the minimum operating system requirement.
Camera & Device Condition Requirements
Devices used with the Software or System must be in good working condition and suitable for high-quality image capture.
At a minimum, devices must:
- have a functioning rear-facing camera with a minimum 12MP resolution;
- be capable of capturing clear, focused images;
- have a screen free from damage that materially interferes with operation;
- be free from significant hardware defects; and
- not have damage, including cracks, water damage, camera damage, or sensor defects, that could interfere with image capture, device operation, Software performance, or System performance.
Entrupy may determine, in its reasonable discretion, that certain devices, hardware conditions, or device configurations are incompatible with the Software or System.
Unsupported Device Modifications
Devices with modified or unsupported operating systems, including “jailbroken” iOS devices or “rooted” Android devices, are not supported and may be blocked from accessing the Software or System.
Entrupy does not guarantee functionality, security, compatibility, or support for devices running modified operating systems or unauthorized software configurations.
Internet Connectivity
Users are responsible for maintaining reliable internet connectivity sufficient to operate the Software and upload authentication data to the System.
Entrupy is not responsible for Software or System performance issues caused by internet, network, or connectivity problems.
Unsupported or Unverified Devices
Devices not specifically listed on this page may still function with the Software or System but may not be fully tested, optimized, or officially supported by Entrupy.
Entrupy does not guarantee that all features, workflows, or authentication results will perform identically across all supported, unsupported, or unverified devices.
Changes to Requirements
Entrupy may modify these hardware and technical requirements from time to time. Continued use of the Software or System after updated requirements are published constitutes acknowledgment of the updated requirements.
