How does Entrupy work?
Entrupy uses artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to authenticate select luxury branded handbags and accessories. Entrupy customers submit microscopic images of logos, leathers, hardware, and materials via the Entrupy device and app where the algorithms will score the item as either authentic or unverified based on the images submitted.
How accurate are the results?
We are proud to say that our accuracy rating is 99.1% but even better is we back every certificate we produce with a financial guarantee. What that means is that If we get it wrong, we will buy that item from you covering your financial loss. To learn more, please click here.
Which brands can you authenticate?
We currently support the top 15 luxury brands which you can find here, with plans to offer support to new brands and categories in the future.
Can you authenticate an item for me if I send you photos?
Unfortunately no, we do not authenticate by photos but if you are in need of an authentication, we have a worldwide network of Entrupy Verified Businesses in which you can bring your item(s) in for an Entrupy authentication. Please click here to find a retailer close to you.
How much does your service cost?
Entrupy offers convenient monthly or yearly subscription plans, all based on volume with no contracts or commitments. Subscription plans can be found here and for larger volume customers, please contact us so we can discuss your authentication needs and provide a personalized quote.
I just downloaded the Entrupy app from the app store. Why can’t I sign in?
You must be an Entrupy Verified Business and have our device and app to utilize our technology. If you currently own a company that deals in luxury handbags, please fill out our contact form and someone will get back to you shortly.
Is your service available in my country?

How come the app isn’t allowing me to authenticate Hermes?
Our Hermes authentication support is activated upon request and is billed separately from our monthly or yearly subscription plans. To request the activation of Hermes in your account, please contact support and they will assist you.
How do I sign up?

I’m an individual seller, can I still sign up?
At this time, we are only offering authentication support to established businesses. To learn more, please contact Entrupy.
What do you mean by Established Business?
To fit this criteria, you must provide a copy of a valid Business License or Certificate of Incorporation along with a working website* and/or social media accounts. *some exceptions may apply
What happens if Entrupy issues an incorrect result?
We stand behind every certificate produced within the Entrupy app and back each one with a financial guarantee. What that means is if we get it wrong, we will cover your financial loss. To learn more, click here.
How long does it take to authenticate an item?
It normally takes a user between 3-5 minutes to submit an item for authentication through the Entrupy app with results being issued within 60 seconds to 60 minutes. *Hermes being the exception to this rule which can take up to 24 hours.
If support is offline, can I still use the device and receive results?
Yes. You can authenticate anytime, anywhere.
Are people looking at the images and making a determination if an item is authentic or not?
Yes and No. Yes, our support team is monitoring submissions to verify that the algorithms are scoring correctly but no, we are not authenticating by the photos submitted through the Entrupy device.
